Off-Day News (4/30/15)

The Boston Red Sox organizations made some moves today during the off-day. 22 year old pitcher Ellis Jimenez was released after not looking very impressive down the stretch in 2014. Jimenez is no big loss considering who's on the pitching depth chart in front of him

In other news, Steven Wright reported to Pawtucket and Jonathan Roof was demoted to Portland to make room for Wright. Wright has a chance to be a star pitcher for the Sox if he ever learns how to control his knuckleball Tim Wakefield style. Better luck next time for the 26 year old Roof.

Tomorrow night the Sox are back in action tomorrow night against the New York Yankees. Justin Masterson pitches for the Red Sox against CC Sabathia of the Yankees. The game begins at 7:10 PM at Fenway Park.
