The Boston Red Sox made a roster move during today's off-day. Ryan Sherriff was optioned down to Worcester. The rumor is Kutter Crawford is coming back tomorrow so Sherriff was the expendable one.

The Sox are back in action tomorrow night in San Diego to take on the Padres and old friend Xander Bogaerts. James Paxton gets the start for Boston against Blake Snell for San Diego. The game begins at 9:40 PM Eastern time at Petco Park.
