The Boston Red Sox made a trade today, sending shortstop Zack Short to the Atlanta Braves for a bag of money. The returns of Vaughn Grissom and Romy Gonzalez made Short expendable so hopefully he finds success in Atlanta.

The Sox are back home tomorrow night for a three game set with the Washington Nationals. Tanner Houck (3-3, 1.99 ERA) takes on Patrick Corbin of Washington. The game begins at 7:10 PM at Fenway Park.
