Tonight's game against the Kansas City Royals has been rained out and Wednesday will now be a day/night doubleheader between the two teams. Before tonight's game was postponed, it was announced that Sean O'Sullivan was designated for assignment after Sunday's disaster. The Boston Red Sox called up Marco Hernandez to replace him. This isn't a surprise as O'Sullivan was just there to hold the fort until Eduardo Rodriguez was ready. One has to wonder why Brian Johnson didn't get the call but it doesn't matter now.
