Rainout News (5/27/01)

After the Boston Pilgrims beat the Cleveland Indians two days ago, yesterday's game was postponed to today. The problem was once the teams got to League Park....the field was a mess. Manager Jimmy Collins kicked mud at Cleveland manager Jimmy McAleer and said his crew can't play under these conditions. 

American League president Ban Johnson agreed and today's game has been postponed until July 19th. Hope the weather improves by then.
