Another off-day and no trades or signings made by the Boston Red Sox. This isn't good for the Sox considering they're right there on the cusp of a comeback in the AL East race. They took 5 out of 7 against the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays with another 7 games coming up against these same two teams. Considering how iffy Chris Sale, Andrew Cashner and David Price have been, the Sox need another pitcher in a bad way. They don't need an ace per say either, just someone that go 6-7 innings and can get outs. Red Sox GM Dave Dombroski has 2 days to get something done.
Sox fans message to DombrowskiOn this day in Basebawful history:
Tomorrow night the Sox start a crucial three game set with the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park. David Price (7-4, 3.66 ERA) gets a rematch with Charlie Morton of the Rays at 7:10 PM at Fenway Park.
