Off-Day News (8/6/20)

Today the Sox made a few roster moves. Chris Mazza and Matt Hall were sent down to the Alternate Training Site. With Darwinzon Hernandez and Josh Taylor returning soon, Sox general manager Chaim Bloom felt Mazza and Hall were the most expendable. Mazza looked good in his one appearance against the Yankees while Matt Hall stunk in his two appearances. Bye bye guys.

Tomorrow night the Sox return home to face the Toronto Blue Jays. Toronto will pull a name out of a hat to start the game while the Sox counter with Ryan Weber (0-2, 11.57 ERA) at 7:30 PM at Fenway Park.
