It was bad news all around for the city of Boston as the New York Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of their NBA East Finals series and the Boston Red Sox game against the Detroit Tigers was rained out. The game will be played on May 18th instead.

Tomorrow morning the Sox come to play their unofficial home opener on Patriots Day against the Cleveland Indians. Ray Culp makes his season debut for the Sox against Milt Wilcox of Cleveland. The game begins at 11:00 AM at Fenway Park.
