Off-Day/Rainout News (5/22/01)

After an off-day yesterday tonight's Boston Red Sox game against the New York Yankees has been rained out and rescheduled for June 4th. Its a shame because the Red Sox want to put some distance between themselves and the Yankees as we head toward June. Oh well.
Gene Kelly is happy again but the rest of us aren't

In minor league news.....don't bother watching the Pawtucket Red Sox, Trenton Thunder or Sarasota Red Sox. Its not worth it. The Lowell Spinners don't start for a few weeks either so its all grumpy news today folks.

On This Day in Basebawful History:

The Sox are back in action tomorrow night in New York against the Yankees. David Cone gets the start for Boston against Andy Pettitte of the Yankees. The game begins at 7:10 PM at Yankee Stadium.
